Sony has released its first quad core processor in the latest Xperia Z smartphone recently. The speed for research and development of new handsets has not slowed down. After bringing Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and ZR phones to the market, the company is now busy with preparing some more devices including Sony Xperia UL.
Sony Xperia UL is the recently exposed phone of the company that is provided with a more powerful processor. It is suggested that this smartphone will be an upgraded version of the Xperia Z handset.
The source reveal that this handset is also referred to as Gaga or Lady Gaga which are just another codenames used by the company without any specific meaning related to them. Earlier also Sony has been seen using such meaningless codenames with its mobile devices such as for Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 they used name Shakira.
This new device, Xperia UL, has carried over its appearance and design from the recently announced smartphone Xperia ZR but is more powerful. The sources from China have mentioned that this smartphone will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad core processor along with a 2 GB RAM that is provided for faster access speeds.
There is an internal storage capacity of 32 GB provided to the users with this phone. It ha a Full HD display that can show flawless picture and videos to the owners of this handset thus improving the overall viewing experience of the users.
The Xperia UL handset will get power supply from a 2300 mAh battery provided with a removable back cover. The release date and price for this phone is not yet confirmed.
