Motorola is finally back in the games with its latest two feature packed Smartphones. Mind blowing specs of both the devices have left an impression on the users. Moto G was launched just a few months after the Motorola Moto X made its debut in the market. Both the devices focus on providing users perks of latest technologies and never before user experience. Here we are with a video showing the differences between both the handsets and so that you can decide which one deserves your hard earned money.
The video begins with unboxing of Moto G, both the devices look pretty similar because of the same shape, size and design. But Motorola Moto G is a bit thicker and wider than Moto G, slightly increasing the weight by a few ounces. By having a close look at the device, mot X seems to be a better quality built with nice feel in the hands.
The 8 minute YouTube video (from PocketNow) gives all the details of both Smartphones in detail. Not only design but the AMOLED display screen of Moto X is also sharper than the LCD display screen of the Moto G. Motorola Moto X gets an upper hand when it comes to camera with 10 MP camera. The pictures shot from both devices clearly gives the verdict in favour of Moto X.
Later the video talks about the key specifications of the device including firmware. Motorola Moto G is backed by a faster quad core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. However, processing speed of both the devices is more or less similar. Moto X runs on latest Android 4.4 KitKat version, while Moto G is still waiting for the upgrade and runs on 4.3 Jelly Bean version.
Both the phones have unique Motorola apps and features but some of the key specs including NFC, trusted device, touchless control and active control are missing from the Moto G.
A wide gap in the prices of both the devices makes comparison a lot tougher. The Moto X is more than twice as expensive as the Moto G. Moto G is for the bare minimum user of a Smartphone and Moto X caters to the need of heavy gamer and tech savvy people.
